THE SAVANNAH BUILDING KITS
This kit contains all materials necessary to build the fuselage, the wings with
flaperons and slats, the tail with rudder, elevator trim with servo and attached
wiring harness, wing
struts with drop shaped fairings already drilled for perfect
adjustment, tricycle landing gear, wheel with separate pedal activated disc brakes, tyres, inner tubes, pedals, yoke, flaps lever, commands, cables
with turnbuckles, guides and mounting brackets, all cables already cut to the
right length and closed at the ends with thimbles and certified nicopress
equipment.
All the parts are produced by serial production on CNC and laser-cutting
machines to
obtain a dramatic cut in the expenses and to get a final result of superior quality,
with perfect interchangeability of the spare parts, with no need for further fittings.
Therefore, all the alluminium skins are cut to size, bended or
pressed, drilled and ready to be riveted using the included rivets. Just a little deburring
of the holes could be necessary. To obtain a perfect result, even the rivet gun is
included in the kit, together with some tack welds and their pliers. For a quick
and perfect building it is suggested to use about 1500 tack welds (clecos) that
could be bought separately. We can buy back these tack welds for the same price
at the end of the work, anyway within 6 moths.
The parts that need to be nailed (wing spars, some parts of the fuselage, etc.)
are supplied ready-made in order to simplify the buiding.
Included in the kit are as well::
- all AN screw bolts, with nuts and washers
- a roll of metal wire for lockings
- two wing tanks containing 36 liters (9 gal) each and a leading tank
containing 6 liters (1,5 gal) with ball-cock reserve indicator, condensation
decanter, fuel tap and tubings down to the firewall
- four points safety belts
- double throttle
- plastic tips for wings, ailerons, slats and tail
- templates for adjusting ailerons, tail. etc.
